This new Dynamic Power Series 10-blade, EDF unit from Lander Technology is a high-end EDF unit specifically designed for 4S (14.8V) LiPo batteries. It is capable of producing up to 650g/1.43lb of thrust (approx. 375W) without suffering the major problems of overheating normally associated with comparable EDF units.
The high temperatures produced by EDF units can have adverse effects on power output and can cause motor and ESC problems. Overheating can lead to loss of power and/or damage to these components. Some manufacturers have added alloy rings into their EDF units to help deal with these problems. The Lander design team has tackled the problem head-on and designed a new unit specfically to combat this issue. How? The whole of the fan housing is constructed from CNC cut aluminium. This means the EDF unit acts as one large heatsink keeping the motor much cooler and increasing performance to its maximum.

This EDF unit is supplied fully assembled with gold-plated (male) connectors.
We were very impressed with the quality and power output of this unit. And wait till you hear it! The noise it makes is more like a turbine than an EDF!
Applications: Will give a BIG power increase for many small EDF Jets. Remember to ensure that the ESC and battery you use are appropriate for the application.
Operating this EDF unit outside of the specifications listed above will damage the motor, battery or esc. It is important that these components are set up properly. Failure to do so will void the warranty.
